Attachments
Mindwtr supports file, link, and audio attachments on tasks and projects. Attachments are optional, and large files can affect sync time.
What you can attach
- Files such as PDFs, images, and documents.
- Links to websites or local references.
- Audio notes when audio capture is enabled.
Add attachments
On desktop, open a task or project and use the Attachments area. On mobile, open a task and use the attachment action. Voice capture can keep the original recording when saving audio attachments is enabled.
Sync behavior
Attachment metadata syncs with task and project data. File bytes sync after metadata. If an attachment file is not present locally, the attachment can still remain visible until the file is available from the sync backend.
Cleanup
Mindwtr cleans up orphaned attachment files when they are no longer referenced. Desktop also exposes manual cleanup from Settings.
Prefer links for large references
If a reference already lives in a stable location, a link is often lighter than syncing the file itself.
