Import from Todoist
Move a Todoist export into Mindwtr and reorganize it into a GTD system.
Supported input
Mindwtr supports Todoist exports when the current app build includes the importer for the format you select, commonly CSV exports.
What imports preserve
- Task title
- Description or notes when available
- Dates where the export provides them
- Project grouping where it maps cleanly to Mindwtr
- Labels where they can become tags or contexts
After import
Todoist projects and labels may not map one-to-one to GTD projects and contexts. Use Review to clarify what each imported item means.
Good migration workflow
- Export from Todoist.
- Export a Mindwtr backup.
- Run the import.
- Check projects, dates, and labels.
- Move only trusted actions into Focus.
